Central Oklahoma Community Health Improvement Initiative

A Coalition of Coalitions:

Working Together for a Healthier Future

You're Invited: Join the Movement on August 7th

We are bringing together leaders from across Central Oklahoma to launch a bold new chapter in community health. Join hospitals, nonprofits, tribal partners, local governments, community-based organizations, and businesses for a Coalition of Coalitions meeting to align our efforts and accelerate progress.

Date: Thursday, August 7, 2025

Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Lunch provided)

Location: Metro Technology Centers – Large Conference Room, Oklahoma City

About This Initiative

This event is part of a larger Community Health Improvement (CHIP) process—an opportunity to build a unified vision for improving health outcomes across Oklahoma County. Our goal is to break down silos, strengthen collaboration, and make the most of our shared resources.

We know funding for social services is likely to become more constrained. Now is the time to coordinate efforts, share strategic plans, and identify both areas of alignment and unmet needs. Together, we can build a healthier Central Oklahoma—more efficiently and more effectively.

Why You Should Participate

Help shape a shared community health agenda for Central Oklahoma

Coordinate efforts across coalitions to reduce duplication

Access regional data, technical assistance, and evaluation support

Contribute to sustainable, long-term impact on health equity and social drivers of health

Align local work with the State Health Improvement Plan and Aging Our Way plan

Who Should Attend

We welcome anyone invested in community well-being and social progress, including:

  • Nonprofits and community-based organizations

  • Hospitals and health systems

  • Tribal health and community representatives
